How a package became an artwork

I was informed that my entry for “The 14th Da Dun Arts Exhibition of Taichung City” had successfully passed the first round of examination. Da Dun is an international art contest that’s held in Taiwan. I was asked to send my painting ‘The Opera‘ to Taichung City in Taiwan. A steady case was built by my hand to survive the long journey. With the adress and a photo of the painting on top of the case it was ready to take off in the air.

After circa 5 months of waiting the doorbell finally went. Unfortunately I didn’t became a winning participant but as a gift I got back my case which was transformed into an artwork. What I saw was a 5 months travel to the other side of the world and back. Crazy…
